Sick? Fever?

my throat is really sore and red, my bronchs are skritchy, and my coughing keeps me up at night. jack sounds bad too. gak.

rather widespread it seems.

I suggest advil for the fever, it seems to be working for me. I can't take those hot cold chills. Sharon's cough is way worse than mine, but yuck anyways.

I got a little something, but not as bad you all. My friend Tim got really sick tho, chills, fever, the works.

At least we've got a year to recover, lol.

Oh, BTW, did anyone get a chemical burn ? I know at least two folks with a weird rash on their bodies. Possibly from a badly rinsed hot tub ????

I refer to it as the post-Jam Cruise Blues.

At least this year we (well many of us) had the whole weekend to recover before going back to work rather than trying to work the days right after returning. This year I broke my 3 year streak of having to leave work early because of bronchitis on my first day back.

Last year I got it on the last day ON the ship. At least this year I didn't get it until we got off the ship :lol:

yep...yesterday was miserable. today has been a little better thus far

My ex started to get ill on Thursday night on the boat and was full blown sick with bronchitis, nausea and fever by disembarkation. She sweated it out at a friends house in Jacksonville until we flew back to Boston yesterday...she's still very sick and went to the doctor today...she got the Jamcruise Flu's. I had the same kind of symptoms 3 weeks ago around Xmas so my body had already built up an immunity to it by the cruise I guess because i didn't get sick again. Also now that I'm back home I'm finding out that it going around really bad everywhere. Everyone I know seems to have bronchitis or know someone who has it.

That was us last year. It hit the day after disembarkation. This year however, I decided to get the flu shot and for at least two weeks before Jam Cruise had at least one AirBorn (or knock off) per day, including most days on the boat. I was also overloading on every kind of vitamin I could find.

The thing is, I FEEL GREAT. My wife on the other hand took none of those precautions and was already getting sick before we left Ft. Lauderdale.

I also took crazy amounts of Vitamins all week and drank tons of water. I managed to get some good sleep also which I'm sure kept me from getting re-sick. I averaged anywhere from 6-8 hours a night except for the last night..only 3 hours.

That was the only meal I missed (due to being ejected). I ate well the rest of the time. :oops:

I think the source of whatever germ we got was from the ice at the bars.

It started for me on Sunday and by today, I was sick as a dog. Fever of 101, coughing, extreme fatigue, body aches........

Bluzbill, I hope you don't get it! We were in that car a long time riding back to Charlotte....
