What is Travel Insurance and why should I get it?
We strongly suggest guests purchase travel insurance to protect your vacation investment and get peace of mind. If we have learned anything from the past it’s that you never know what can happen, it’s important to be prepared for anything.
There are many Travel Insurance options that can be found with a quick Google search, but we have done the leg work for you and have partnered with IMG (International Medical Group) to offer Travel Insurance plan options. Click below to compare the different policies and get quotes. You purchase your policy directly with IMG, any corrections or changes must be directed to them within 10 days of your policy purchase. Please be sure to read your policy as soon as you receive it by email.
You can add insurance to your reservation at the time of booking or anytime up to 24 hours before you depart for Jam Cruise, but keep in mind you MUST purchase a plan within 20 days of your initial deposit if you want Cancel For Any Reason coverage, if you have a pre-existing condition, or if you think you may need to cancel because of work. If you purchase a policy through IMG, you have a 10 day look period and can cancel for a full refund during those 10 days. Be sure to read through your policy when you receive it.
Can I bring my kids?
Of course! Jam Cruise is an all ages event, so bring the entire family to experience the magic! Contact the Travel Team to add children to your reservation. Rates are based on the child’s age at the time we set sail, not at the time of booking.
How much does Jam Cruise cost for children?
- Ages 2 & under: $299
- Ages 3-10: child receives 25% off the per person rate based on double occupancy
- Ages 11 and up: considered adults and are the full per person rate.
- Be sure your children are attending before adding them as it is a non-refundable purchase.
- Kid-specific amenities (Kid’s Clubs) are not available during the sailing.
- If you need to book more than one cabin to accommodate your family, please contact the Travel Team (one Pre-book per cabin). Please be sure to also check the legend on the deck plan to make sure your cabin can accommodate multiple occupancies and/or adjoining cabins.
What is a Carbon Offset?
- By purchasing a Carbon Offset, you are offsetting the emissions from your personal travel to the event (your carbon footprint).
- Carbon Offsets purchased through Jam Cruise support Trees, Water & People and offer not only an opportunity to reduce your environmental impact, but to also curb deforestation rates, improve the health of families, and support our efforts to protect and conserve natural resources in Central America.
